I have tried before to be a blogger. There is so much pressure out there to have a funny or inspiring blog or at the very least just an up to date blog... and I have failed at all of the above in the past. However, I have been inspired tonight by a friend's blog to once again attempt to enter the blogging world. All of my married friends have blogs, so I guess I am 6 months behind already.
I can't promise to entertain or inspire, but I hope to at least inform you of the happenings in our life. Please enjoy, come back often, and leave comments.
A little Top Ten list to update you on the first 6 months of our married life together.
Top 10 Pleasant Surprises About Marriage:
10. It doesn't really matter that he squeezes the toothpaste tube from the middle.
9. He empties the dish washer!
8. He does laundry when he works from home.
7. It is wonderful to have someone who always supports you.
6. We still tell each other 3 reasons we love each other every night.
5. He likes to cook and does so a lot.
4. You don't get tired of saying or hearing "I Love You".

2. It is so nice to look forward to coming home to him everyday and having him ask how your day was.
1. Realizing you're no longer just an 'I', but now a 'we', and finding so much comfort in that.
and hopefully many more to come! :) This past Sunday, July 11, was our 1 year anniversary. We have had an incredible year! We celebrated our anniversary at a little cabin called Rustic Hideaway at Covemountain Resorts. It was so much fun! We cooked our meals, played pool, and relaxed in our cabin's personal hot tub! We also visited Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and went for a short hike in the Smokies. Below are some pictures from the trip.
